Utah Jazz fans got a big treat on Wednesday night. In his first game back from injury, Donovan Mitchell dropped 29 points to lead the Jazz to a 10-point road win over the Nets in Brooklyn.
It was a much-needed effort for a variety of reasons, but let’s not mince words here — one of those reasons is the fact that Mitchell hasn’t exactly been crisp on offensively over the first quarter of the season. Nor has the team’s other shooting guard, rookie Grayson Allen.
Alec Burks was probably exceeding some expectations, but he’s in Cleveland now.
