Former Michigan Wolverines forward D.J. Wilson is one of the more intriguing, late first-round prospects in the upcoming NBA Draft. His measurables, shooting ability and upside both as a playmaking big man as well as on the defensive end make for an interesting package in that range.
Given his size and skill set, it stands to reason that the Utah Jazz could take a hard look at Wilson with one of their two first-round picks in next month’s draft. However, reports that the team may have given some kind of guarantee to the 21-year-old following a Late-April workout with in Salt Lake City are off-base, says one Jazz exec.
