It’s been a roller coaster ride this summer for Utah Jazz draftee Olivier Hanlan. After being selected by the team with the No. 42 overall pick of the second round, the rookie guard struggled to make an impact during NBA Summer League. He later signed a two-year deal to play with Lithuanian squad BC Zalgiris Kaunas.
More recently, the former Boston College star has battled with Phil Scrubb for a spot on the Canadian national team behind starting point guard Cory Joseph. According to reports, Team Canada coach Jay Triano has elected to go with the Scrubb as Joseph’s backup, making Hanlan the team’s final cut–
