Facing long odds to capture a spot on the team’s 15-man roster for opening night, Utah Jazz draftee Nigel Williams-Goss decided to make the move. Instead of participating in Jazz camp and preseason play, he signed a two-year deal with BC Partizan NiS of the Adriatic League.
So far, tt’s a move that’s paid off in a major way for Williams-Goss. He’s arguably been Partizan’s best baller and a EuroCup star.
In Round 6 of Liga ABA competition, the combo guard led his squad to a 90-74 win over Cibona. Williams-Goss finished with 20 points, hitting 4-of-5 shots from 3-point range, and added 13 dimes, four rebounds and two steals.
