Utah Jazz Draft: Jonathan Jeanne diagnosed with potentially career-ending disorder

Several NBA mock drafts had the Utah Jazz potentially selecting French big man Jonathan Jeanne with one of their late first-round picks. Unfortunately, news broke today that he has been diagnosed with Marfan Syndrome, which is a potential career-ending disorder.

Jeanne, a seven-foot-two center from France, has drawn comparisons to Jazz center Rudy Gobert. The 19-year-old was rising up draft boards, and was projected to be picked 22nd in the most recent DraftExpress mock draft.

Really big news, many mock drafts had the Jazz selecting him at either 24 or 30. I was really excited to see what he could do in the NBA.
