SALT LAKE CITY — Justin Wright-Foreman let a three-letter word describe his emotions on late Thursday night.
“Wow,” the 6-foot-2 guard tweeted.
After hearing his named called as the 53rd overall pick of the second round for the Utah Jazz in the 2019 NBA draft, he floated on cloud nine.
“My emotions are high right now,” Wright-Foreman told The New York Post in a phone interview following the draft. “I’m going to be the hardest-working person when I get there.”
The back-to-back Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Year was the NCAA’s second-leading scorer at Hofstra University last season, averaging 27.
