The Utah Jazz’s win over the Sydney Kings on Monday looked to be the perfect beginning to the preseason. Dante Exum had a really nice outing and showed more maturity with his decision-making than in previous years, Rodney Hood shot the ball well, rookie Donovan Mitchell had a couple of electrifying plays and Rudy Gobert was well…Rudy Gobert.
However, less than a day removed from their first win, some all too familiar news broke on the team’s Twitter page. Two Jazz players were listed in the injury report for Wednesday’s home game against Maccabi Haifa.
Luckily, the problems in both cases appear to be minor bumps rather than injuries.
