As amazing as Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell was on the court last season, it’s quite possible that he’s exceeded even that level of greatness with his charitable acts this summer. From paying to repair an iPhone for a random fan in need to making several children’s day with simple acts of kindness, his list of good deeds has grown quite lengthy.
But even so, he refuses to quit. On Tuesday, Mitchell made a surprise visit to Kearns High School near Salt Lake City to hand out T-shirts and backpacks to students who had maintained high GPAs or significantly improved them.
