The Utah Jazz made incredible strides on the court this season, winning 38 games and boasting one of the league’s top defenses. While it doesn’t garner the same kind of attention in the media, the team’s continued charitable efforts are equally as impressive.
Over the course of the 2014-15 campaign, the Jazz and its various partners raised over $240,000 in charitable donations. According to the team’s announcement, those proceeds will be dispersed among a myriad of schools, nonprofit organizations and people in need.
The franchise’s partners included Mountain America Credit Union, AAA, CenturyLink, Utah’s Ford Stores, Washakie and Western Governer’s University.
