Utah Jazz Center Tibor Pleiss Breaks Out Against Serbia

In the German national team’s opening EuroBasket contest with Iceland, Utah Jazz center Tibor Pleiss committed three fouls and was limited to 14 minutes of play. Nonetheless, Dirk Nowitzki and Dennis Schroder were able to lead the squad to a narrow victory.

On Sunday, Pleiss was afforded another opportunity to strut his stuff for Team Germany as they played host to the 2014 FIBA World Cup silver medal-winning squad in Serbia. Although the Germans lost in dramatic fashion by a score of 68-66, the seven-foot-one center had a breakout performance.
