Utah Jazz: Booker Fights Hunger With Breakfast Assist

If there’s one thing Utah Jazz forward Trevor Booker is known for besides his intensity on the hardwood, it’s his love of breakfast cereal. Booker combined that love with community outreach on Saturday by hosting the second annual Booker’s Breakfast Assist event.

The Breakfast Assist program serves to gather cereal donations for the St. Vincent de Paul Dining Hall, a Catholic Community Services of Utah effort to feed the homeless in the Salt Lake Valley. His dedication to the charitable effort and cereal is such that Booker appeared at the event despite having nose surgery just days before–

In the days leading up to the event, the cereal aficionado also offered his reviews of popular breakfast brands via the team’s community relations Twitter.
