Although Ricky Rubio is the only Utah Jazz player participating in EuroBasket 2017, multiple others with Jazz ties are in on the action. And while they may not be favorites for a gold medal like Rubio and the Spanish national team, they’ve had their fair share of success at FIBA’s 40th European championship.

Jazz assistant Igor Kokoskov and Slovenia continued their strong showing in group play with a big win over Iceland in Helsinki, Finland. Led by Goran Dragic’s 21 points, Kokoskov’s squad utilized a 37-18 second quarter to put the game out of reach early, then hit cruise control on their way to a 27-point win.
