This offseason, the Utah Jazz will have two 1st round picks (#8, #29) and one in the 2nd round (#32).
It wasn’t clear the Jazz would have any picks at all in this draft when the season started because Utah would convey their 1st round pick to Oklahoma City had they been outside the top-ten in the draft. But trade deadline changed everything for the Jazz. Danny Ainge and Justin Zanik decided to trade three rotation players in Kelly Olynyk, Simone Fontecchio, and Ochai Agbaji which netted them the #29 and #32 picks. It also put them on a development trajectory that had them lose enough games to get to #8 in the lottery.
