At the beginning of the 2016-2017 season, Joe Ingles was not expected to have a large role. The shooting guard position looked all but stacked with Rodney Hood and Alec Burks expected to have breakout/comeback years. However, due to the onslaught of injuries suffered by the Utah Jazz, Ingles was given an opportunity to step up and he did.
The most obvious improvement for Joe Ingles this last season had to be his three point shooting. He lead the league in three point field goal percentage for the majority of the season. He ended up finishing the season shooting 45.
