Upstill: Has Dennis Lindsey been good for Jazz?

Since Dennis Lindsey took over as the general manager of the Utah Jazz, he has completely reshaped the team from trades and draft picks to coaching staff. Have these moves benefited the Jazz?

In the summer of 2012, Jazz Vice President of Basketball Operations Kevin O’Conner decided he wanted to relinquish most of his duties, and the search for his eventual replacement was on. After a private search, the Jazz hired San Antonio Spurs’ Assistant GM Dennis Lindsey to be their new GM.

Lindsey was definitely qualified and ready for the job. He spent 11 years with the Houston Rockets, starting out as a video coordinator/scout in 1996.
