SALT LAKE CITY — A big factor in Utah's first home victory over the Los Angeles Clippers in more than five years was the play of the two Joes, — Joe Ingles, who scored 18 points off the bench and Joe Johnson, who scored 14 and hit two key buckets for the Jazz when the Clippers were threatening late in the game.
“I thought Joe Ingles kept us in it,” said Jazz coach Quin Snyder, who played Ingles most of the third quarter when Utah outscored L.A. 40-30. “He hit some big shots.”
Ingles started the second half in place of foul-plagued Rodney Hood and came up with eight of his 18 points, making all three shots including a pair of 3-pointers.
