The Roundup—Jazz 90, Thunder 94

Utah’s late-game comeback attempt fell just short as the Oklahoma City Thunder escaped Salt Lake City with a 94-90 win Friday night.

The Thunder (15-8) took a quick 9-0 lead and the Jazz (10-11) played from behind throughout the game, but they never went away, chipping away at OKC’s lead until they tied it up in the final two minutes. The Thunder, though, closed the game on a 7-3 run.

Gordon Hayward scored a team-high 19 points for the Jazz, while Trey Burke added 16 points off the bench. Derrick Favors filled the stat sheet with 13 points, seven rebounds, two steals and three blocks, and Alec Burks (15 points) also scored in double figures in the loss.
