The Utah Jazz once again grabbed an early lead before struggling through the middle part of the game and eventually falling 91-84 to the Atlanta Hawks Tuesday night at Vivint Smart Home Arena.
The Jazz are now 29-34.
Utah entered the night with the NBA’s No. 26 offense since the All-Star break, while Atlanta boasted the league’s top defense over the same stretch. That disparity was evident throughout as the Jazz shot only 34.9 percent from the field and were unable to get into any consistent offensive flow.
Gordon Hayward scored a team-high 22 points for the Jazz, while Derrick Favors and Rodney Hood added 16 points each.
