In 2001, Devin Harris graduated from Wauwatosa East High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin after a stellar senior season in which he led the Red Raiders to an undefeated season en route to rewriting the scoring record books and taking home Wisconsin’s Mr. Basketball honors. His number 20 was retired in 2007, but that wasn’t enough.
On June 1, 2015, Devin Harris was inducted into the Wauwatosa East High School Hall of Fame. The thing is, that’s not Devin Harris.
Milwaukee’s WTMJ, a CBS affiliate, reported on the HOF induction of Devin Harris, featuring a shot of the Dallas Mavericks’ backup point guard in the story, except that that’s Devin’s brother Bruce Harris, folks, a former baller in his own right, but not exactly a 2008-09 NBA All-Star.
