PHOENIX — A person with knowledge of the situation says the Phoenix Suns have fired assistant coaches Jerry Sichting and Mike Longabardi.
The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the firings had not been announced.
Also, assistants Earl Watson and Nate Bjorgken have been promoted to bench coaches. Watson played guard for the Utah Jazz from 2010-2013.
The shake-up on head coach Jeff Hornacek's staff comes after an embarrassing home loss to Philadelphia on Saturday night. The Suns are 12-20 and have lost four in a row.
