SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake City Stars are getting a gem of a player.

The Stars have acquired Diamond Stone from the Windy City Bulls in exchange for SLC's 2018 third-round pick and the returning player rights to center Henry Sims. Relatedly, the Utah Jazz's G-League affiliate also announced that it has waived guard Dakarai Allen.

Stone has a nice game to go with his unique name. The 6-foot-11 center was originally drafted in the second round (40th overall) by the New Orleans Pelicans before being traded to the Los Angeles Clippers.
