Rodney Hood practices, but is still out for tonight's game; Exum has surgery

LOS ANGELES — Rodney Hood participated Tuesday morning at the Utah Jazz shootaround, but has been ruled out for tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers at Staples Center. Hood injured his left calf late in Friday night's game in Minnesota.

Also forward Joe Ingles is listed as probable for tonight’s game after suffering from “G.I. distress.” It wasn’t a good morning for Ingles, who was fined $15,000 by the NBA for a groin hit on Steven Adams in Saturday night’s win over Oklahoma City.

“It was the same as yesterday — (Hood) did non-contact stuff, shooting and going through the offense and a few defensive breakdowns that weren’t live,” said coach Quin Snyder, who didn’t speculate on when Hood might return to the lineup.
