Oregon’s Alamo Bowl meltdown eerily resembled Utah’s Las Vegas Bowl game against BYU.
The Ducks led 21-0 in the first quarter and 31-0 at halftime, only to lose in triple-overtime to TCU. Two weeks earlier, the Utes led 35-0 after one quarter and barely hung on for a 35-28 win.
In some strange way, both games validated the warning of a wise man that two weeks ago said, “Don’t start nothing, won’t be nothing.
