Reports: Jazz trade second-round pick for Shelvin Mack

Shelvin Mack, Butler , shoots free throws after working out for the Jazz in Salt Lake City Sunday, May 29, 2011. In preparation for the 2011 NBA Draft, the Utah Jazz held pre-draft workouts for six players at Zions Bank Basketball Center.

In the weeks leading up to Thursdays NBA trade deadline, the Utah Jazz were widely believed to be in the market for a point guard, with names such as Jeff Teague, Jrue Holiday and Ty Lawson being bandied about as potential options.

While rumors of Utah acquiring those players fizzled as the deadline neared, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical, the Jazz have acquired Shelvin Mack of the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for a second-round pick.
