Report: NBA’s Board of Governors approves 22-team format to resume 2019-20 season

SALT LAKE CITY — The NBA is back. Or, at least it will be very soon.

The Athletic’s Shams Charania and ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Thursday morning that in a vote, the NBA’s Board of Governors approved the previously reported 22-team format to resume 2019-20 season.

The NBA’s Board of Governors has voted to approve the league’s 22-team format to restart the 2019-2020 season in Orlando, source tells ESPN.
