SALT LAKE CITY — In one of the more lopsided trades in franchise history, in 2013, the Utah Jazz sent cash and the 46th pick of that year's draft, Erick Green, to the Denver Nuggets for the 27th pick Rudy Gobert.
Green was a proven scorer after leading the NCAA in the statistic at Virginia Tech, while Gobert was seen as a project.
Less than three years later, Green is still trying to find permanent footing in professional basketball, while Gobert is one of the NBA's best big men.
The 6-foot-4 Green will be getting another shot at the big leagues, however, courtesy of the Jazz, who are reportedly set to sign him to a 10-day contract from the D-League's Reno Bighorns.
