Portland Trail Blazers forward Al-Farouq Aminu left Wednesday's 112-103 overtime loss to the Utah Jazz with a right ankle injury.
Aminu rolled his ankle going for a rebound in the second quarter. He limped to the bench after the play.
X-rays taken at Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City were negative. He was diagnosed with an ankle sprain and had a walking boot on as he left the facility with the team.
"It's just always annoying not being 100 percent," Aminu said after the game. "It's a part of the game and everything happens for a reason.
