Right now, Bobby Parks Jr. could be looking back on four years at Georgia Tech, eying his basketball future.
But the 6-foot-4 guard doesn’t regret his decision to de-commit from the Yellow Jackets in 2011, and instead move halfway around the world.
"For me, it was worth it," he said. "To be there until his dying seconds was a blessing for me."
Bobby Parks Sr. was picked by Atlanta in the third round of 1984 draft and went on to play overseas. And it was his dream to see his son reach the NBA, too.
