On Wednesday night, former Utah Jazz star Deron Williams made his first appearance for the Cleveland Cavaliers. It was something of an inauspicious debut for the three-time All-Star, who finished with four points on 2-of-8 shooting and missed a potential game-winner with less than 10 clicks remaining.
Nevertheless, the Cavs are banking on D-Will to help them repeat as NBA champions. Meanwhile, Williams is out to prove he’s still a winner and one of the better point guards in the league.
For my part, I expect it to be a fruitful alliance. I believe there’s still a lot of good basketball left in the former Jazzman.
