In Monday night's 120-104 win over the Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets point guard Chris Paul dished out 11 assists, moving him to 8,972 career assists — good for eighth place in the all-time NBA assist leaders. Paul is the only player in the top 10 that is still currently playing (LeBron James checks in at No. 11 with 8,490 — just 35 assists away from cracking the top 10 and passing former Ute Andre Miller, who has 8,524 career assists.)
Paul still has a long way to go before catching the all-time leader in assists — former Jazz point guard John Stockton, who tops the list with an incredible 15,806 assists.
