Former Utah Jazz player — and NBA Hall of Famer — John Stockton has been named to Montana State women's basketball staff as an assistant coach.

The team announced that he will replace Kellee Barney on Tuesday.

Stockton's daughter Lindsay is a senior on the team. He coached her and three other Bobcats teammates at Gonzaga Prep and a AAU team, according to the news release.
