SALT LAKE CITY — They started at the 5:21 mark of the first quarter when coach Quin Snyder called his second timeout of the game after Orlando moved out to a 22-7 lead over the Jazz. The boos in Vivint Arena were scattered at first but got a bit louder a few minutes later when the Magic ran off six more points after the timeout to extend their lead to 21 points at 28-7.
Losing by 21 to any team in the first quarter is bad enough for fans, but it felt especially bad, coming against a team that came into the game 17-23 and was playing the final game of a 10-day, six-game road trip.
