SALT LAKE CITY — J.J. O’Brien began his college career in the Beehive State before transferring elsewhere for his final three years.
Four years after his freshman season with the University of Utah, the former Ute forward finds it interesting that he’s getting a chance to begin his NBA career with a team from the same state.
“Everything comes full circle,” O’Brien said during the recent NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. “I’m blessed to able to come back to a place where I’m familiar with.
