Rodney Hood suffered a hyperextended right knee during the Utah Jazz's 114-107 win over the Orlando Magic on Saturday night in Salt Lake City.
Hood fell to the court with what looked like a serious injury with 2:54 remaining in the game, his knee buckling while trying to leap for a transition layup. He stayed down on the court, pounding it with his fist, before exiting with athletic trainers.
"Hopefully it's not serious," coach Quin Snyder told reporters.
Hood will be re-evaluated Sunday, the team said.
The third-year guard out of Duke had 14 points before exiting.
