BROOKLYN — Nate Wolters arrived at his New York hotel here around 9:30 p.m. Thursday night.
After playing in Santa Cruz, California, Wednesday for the Salt Lake City Stars of the G League, the Utah Jazz's two-way player received a call-up to the NBA.
So, he hopped on a six-hour flight to fulfill his latest professional obligation.
Wolters participated in Friday’s shootaround with the Jazz then played three minutes in Utah’s 118-107 loss to Brooklyn.
He’s used to the non-traditional process and it doesn’t bother him one bit.
“I’m on a two-way contract so I’ve kind of got to be ready whenever,” Wolters said.
