The NBA will release its review of the officiating during the game’s final two minutes later this afternoon, and I fully expect the league will admit last night’s crew botched a big call.
With just over 20 seconds left in the game and the Jazz down by two, Jeff Withey went up for a dunk that would have tied the game.
James Harden hit him from behind.
Motrezl Harrell hit him from the front.
None of the officials blew his whistle.
It was a huge play though, of course, not the only reason the Jazz lost, 93-91. After the game, Withey, Rodney Hood and Quin Snyder downplayed the no-call.
