Jazz Showing Confidence in the Process—and Their Own Players

Outside of an unfortunate (and hopefully not a serious) ankle injury to Danté Exum late in the game, Monday’s 100-82 drubbing of the Boston Celtics couldn’t have gone much better for the Utah Jazz.

Exum (20 points, five rebounds, five assists) and Rodney Hood (23 points, 10 rebounds, four assists) filled up the box score and provided the leadership that teammates, coaches and fans were hoping to see from them.

“Danté surprised me,” Hood said. “He kept shooting. He probably missed a couple, but he came back and shot the third one like he’d hit three in a row.
