MINNEAPOLIS — While he was out of work last season, Tom Thibodeau was invited to spend several days in Utah with the Jazz coaching staff.
Thibs observed. He offered advice. He spent time with a friend he worked with in Houston (Dennis Lindsey) along with Jerry Sloan, Frank Layden and Quin Snyder. He was also humorously asked to install some of his offense into the Jazz system.
