Last year’s draft was one of the most unheralded classes the NBA has seen in a long time, one that had a lot of teams not worried about where they’d land because there weren’t any obvious superstars at the top. Before the 2023-24 season, a lot of mock drafts had Isaiah Collier at the top of the board, a lot had him as the #1 pick.
When the college season started, Collier dropped week after week in the rankings until draft night came, and he fell to the Utah Jazz at pick #29.
