SALT LAKE CITY — A handful of Utah Jazz players participated in voluntary, individual workouts at the team’s practice facility, the Zions Banks Basketball Campus, Deseret News Jazz beat writer Sarah Todd reported Monday.
Last Friday, the NBA allowed teams in states that have lifted stay-at-home orders to reopen their facilities. That came with strict safety guidelines, per the Jazz website, including:
- No more than four players allowed inside facilities at a time
- Staff members must wear masks and gloves
- Group activities are prohibited
“The biggest goal is to have the confidence of our players and staff that they can enter our facility safely,” Utah Jazz executive vice president of basketball operations Dennis Lindsey told reporters last week.
