SALT LAKE CITY — Gordon Hayward will not have another chance to matchup against LeBron James this regular season.
The Utah Jazz starting small forward, who has been suffering plantar fasciitis, has been ruled out of tonight's nationally-televised game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The team said in a news release that the medical staff determined that "the best course of action is for Hayward to undergo a period of treatment and rehabilitation." He is listed as day-to-day.
This will be the first game Hayward has missed all season. He leads the team in points (20.1) and assists (3.
