After a slow start, the Utah Jazz took over in the second quarter and didn’t look back, pulling away for a 100-82 win over the Boston Celtics Monday night at EnergySolutions Arena.
Rodney Hood posted a double-double with a team-high 23 points—including 15 in the fourth quarter alone—and 10 rebounds, while Danté Exum added 20 points, five rebounds and five assists in the win.
Jack Cooley finished with 13 points and 13 rebounds for the Jazz.
Boston’s Marcus Smart led all scorers with 26 points in the loss. Jordan Mickey (16 points), C.J. Fair (12) and James Young (12) also scored in double figures for the Celtics.
