Derrick Favors came back and played for the first time in over a month, but couldn't lead the Jazz to a win as the Jazz fell to Detroit 95-92.
SALT LAKE CITY — Finally, after 32 days and 16 games, Derrick Favors returned to the Jazz lineup Monday night.
However, he wasn’t able to make enough of a difference for the Jazz in a 95-92 loss to Detroit.
Favors had been out since the Golden State game on Dec. 23 because of back soreness.
Earlier in the day at the Jazz shootaround, Jazz coach Quin Snyder hinted that Favors might return when asked about his status, saying “there’s been steady progress and he’ll be back soon.
