SALT LAKE CITY — Former Utah Jazz coach Frank Layden and his wife, Barbara, have endorsed Democrat John Harper in the race for attorney general.
Layden described Harper, a former University of Utah law school assistant dean, as an outstanding attorney who is "very, very honest."
"He has a great work ethic and most of all he is a man of character," Layden said in a press release. "Sounds like a winner to this old coach."
Now in private practice, Harper specializes in consumer protection law and corporate governance litigation, representing consumers, policyholders and shareholders against large corporations across the country.
