LOS ANGELES — Hundreds of fans gathered on Slauson Avenue to form a single file line to pay respect for a city legend early Sunday.
Thirty at a time were allowed to enter a parking lot where tragedy recently struck.
All this was happening while a large mural was being completed in the late rapper Nipsey Hussle’s likeness, cellphone photos were being captured and a plethora of items were being left out front of his Marathon Clothing store where he was fatally shot and killed exactly one week ago.
