The Utah Jazz welcomed yet another group of prospects for the 2015 NBA Draft to the team’s practice facility on Monday. The list of potential draftees was headlined by local product and all-time leading scorer at BYU, senior guard Tyler Haws.
The six-foot-five Haws attended nearby Lone Peak High School in Highland, Utah before going on to a four-year career with the Cougars. Haws feels he did well in his audition for Jazz officials, citing the three-on-three segment as his highlight.
According to Jazz VP of player personnel Walt Perrin, Haws will have to answer concerns about his age and defensive abilities if he’s going to hack it at the NBA level.
