Just when it seemed the Utah Jazz were going to come out of Day 1 of free agency empty-handed, an unexpected report surfaced that the Jazz had come to an agreement with veteran Joe Johnson who most recently played with the Miami Heat.
Johnson has reportedly agreed to a two-year, $22 million deal with the Jazz. The six-foot-seven, 240-pound veteran will be entering his 16th NBA season and has qualified for seven All-Star games throughout his career, with six of those appearances coming as a member of the Atlanta Hawks.
