SALT LAKE CITY — Among the last players called to the podium on the exit interview day was Bryce Cotton. Other Jazz players had arrived in approximate order of experience and importance: general manager Dennis Lindsey, coach Quin Snyder, Gordon Hayward, Derrick Favors, Trevor Booker, Rudy Gobert, Trey Burke, etc.
By the time Cotton took the stand, the crowd of media had drastically thinned.
For one, the free pizza was gone.
Second, so were the stars.
The wait was longer for Cotton than all but Jack Cooley, Grant Jerrett and Rodney Hood. This didn’t faze Cotton in the least.
