Boris Diaw, Utah Jazz Fall Short in Late Comeback Bid Against Spurs

It’s a pretty cliché thing to say about NBA basketball, but remains an oft-recited adage by coaches around the league. Playing 48 minutes of good basketball is they key to winning games.

In their Sunday afternoon showdown with the San Antonio Spurs, the Utah Jazz fell just short of that, unfortunately. And the 8-10 minutes of less-than-awesome basketball was enough to do them in, despite a late charge.

After trailing by as many as 17 points in the third quarter, the Jazz band stormed back in the final period, trailing by just four points with 2:24 remaining.
