Besides tough defense, Jazz happy with offense, ball-handling

After three games, the Utah Jazz are leading the NBA in fewest points allowed per game (79.7), but their offense, particularly their ball-handling, has been improved this year.

“The more situations you work on, the more comfortable people will be in those situations. Their percentages should go up. But sometimes it’s as simple as that — the execution is good, but the ball doesn’t go in.”

SALT LAKE CITY — With the Utah Jazz off to a 2-1 start, everyone has been raving about the team’s defense and for good reason.

The Jazz lead the league by a wide margin in points allowed at just 79.
